About Two Earth Hours
Somewhere under the vast starry sky of the universe lies.....
San Diego, California. It is here where Scott Jackson took his music and his imagery-laden lyrics to David Randle who helped him hone his vision. With David's first-rate writing sensibility and ingenius guitar work, Scott's vision began to grow under his watch. Once the writing sessions were completed, the eleven most inspired songs were taken into Signature Sound, Studio West and Audio Design Recording. It is here that the songs were given even more life with the intricate bass playing of Rick Nash, the powerful drumming of Larry Grano and the simultaneously rocking, soaring and soothing keyboard playing of David Curtis. With the instrumental bed in place, it was time for Scott's words to come to life.
Enter Tim Foley. Conveying all kinds of emotions from the fantasy elements of "All About Anya" to the beautiful and soaring escapism of "Space Blonde" to the light-hearted frustration of "Action Figure" to the more pent-up frustration of "Walk" to the helplessness of "Math and Science" to the regret of "Alien" and "Horseback or Plane" to the cosmos-shaking heartbreak of "Dreams That Die" to the embittered darkness of the final three tracks, Tim gave the lyrics the life that they had been waiting to be given. With Tim's harmonies and Rebeca Randle's wondrous and inspired backing vocal performance laying underneath, Tim's lead performance is the final stamp on Scott and David's writing and on Scott's original vision. With David's arranging and producing putting the final sheen and polish on the album, it is time to unveil the inspired performances of the musicians and the long-running vision of Scott Jackson.

"Third Eye Blind Pilgrimage"
- Scott Jackson
There is one reason and one reason only that I decided to write my own music. One reason, three words: Third Eye Blind.
From the day that I first heard them on the radio in the summer of 1997 to the present day, there has always been something different and special about this
particular band. Perfect music, perfect melodies, perfect lyrics; nothing compromised.
Would I have taken music lessons had I never heard this band?
Yes.
Would I have ever written my own music had I never heard this band?
No.
That's why, with the Two Earth Hours record finally completed and released, there was only one thing left to do: My own private tribute to the band that
changed my world.
